Empowering Young Diplomats Under the Banner of “Sapientia | Pax | Fraternitas”
In a rousing celebration of global diplomacy, spirited discourse, and visionary leadership, Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Ghaziabad, proudly hosted the 7th edition of the Jaipuria Model United Nations Conference JMUNC 2025, on 1st and 2nd August 2025 at the school premises. This year’s conference brought together around 500 delegates from approximately 50 schools across the country to deliberate on some of the world’s most pressing issues.
JMUNC 2025 was inaugurated with a luminous Opening Ceremony, graced by the esteemed Director Principal, Ms. Shalini Nambiar, along with the school’s leadership team and an enthusiastic gathering of student delegates and educators. The ceremonial lamp lighting, dance, and musical renditions set the tone for an intellectually enriching experience.
Director Principal, Ms. Shalini Nambiar, said in her opening address, “JMUNC is more than just a conference—it’s a mirror to the world we’re building and the world needs no divisions but understanding.” She further encouraged the students to participate with a spirit of passion and craft a braver version of themselves. She emphasized that power is found not in dominance, but in depth, and that one should seek not perfection, but continuous growth.
Over the two-day event, twelve dynamic committees, including UNHRC, UNCSW, G20, Lok Sabha, AIPPM, and UNICEF, witnessed intense, research-backed debate on topics ranging from glacial displacement and child protection in war zones to caste census, state-sponsored terrorism, and global taxation reform. Each committee was steered by a competent Executive Board that ensured productive dialogue and diplomatic integrity.
The Core Secretariat, led by Secretary-General Parishi Jain, Director-General Ishan Saraswat, and Convenor-Treasurer Aakash Agarwal, displayed leadership and seamless coordination. A robust Senior Secretariat and Organising Committee ensured operational finesse, making JMUNC 2025 a logistical and academic triumph.
The Closing Ceremony featured prize distributions across all committees. Delegates were honoured for their articulate arguments, diplomatic dexterity, and solution-oriented thinking. The Best Delegate Awards carried a cash prize of INR 6,000, while High Commendation winners received INR 4,000 each. The evening culminated with the announcement that the Best School Delegation was awarded to Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Lucknow
