A POCSO workshop was conducted at Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Vasundhara on 1st of July in the auditorium to familiarise the staff with the particular act in detail and sensitise everyone further keeping in mind the dynamic and fast-changing generation around. The amount of exposure youngsters have today is indispensable which makes them vulnerable to many mishaps and fall trap to unwanted elements. It is the need of the hour to prioritise their safety and be well equipped with pros and cons of various actions in order to help them anyhow. Seth Anandram Jaipuria School made a prompt initiative in apprising its employees and support staff to follow the guidelines and directions laid down by the act. It was not only an eye opener but also provided a depth to our perceptions towards children’s mindset. The workshop was helpful in giving handy details to the staff with dos and don’ts in emergency and otherwise in regular scenario too. All sorts of doubts and apprehensions were attended and sorted by the efficient and well versed resource person Ms. Shikha Agnihotri (Child Safeguarding Expert) and Ms. Sunaina Tourangbam (Child Protection Legal Expert). The session was indeed informative and beneficial to everyone.
