Project Based Learning
Project-Based Learning is a flexible tool for framing given academic standards into the curriculum. This not only makes students more individually accountable but also more visible for the authentic products project-based learning is known to produce.
Teaching Enquiry with Mysteries Incorporated
At Jaipuria we follow the TEMI teaching methodology for teaching Sciences( Physics , Chemistry ,Biology, Environment Sciences ) and History. Following Teaching Enquiry with Mysteries Incorporated intends to prepare students for enquiry learning by introducing them to challenging and fascinating phenomena. In this we make use of unknown and uncommon observations that we call mysteries.
Collaborative / Cooperative Learning
At Seth Anandram Jaipuria School the ownership of teaching and learning is not the sole responsibility of the teacher. Rather it’s shared students. The authority of setting goals, assessing and facilitating learning is shared by all. Students have opportunities to actively participate in their learning, question and challenge each other, share and discuss their ideas, and internalize their learning. Along with improving academic learning, cooperative learning helps students engage in thoughtful discourse and examine different perspectives. It helps us increase students’ self-esteem, motivation, and empathy.
Learner Expeditionary Learning
At Jaipuria students and teachers are engaged in challenging learning expeditions. They explore a topic or theme in depth by working on projects that call for intellectual inquiry, physical exploration, and community service. On a given day, their explorations may take them outside the school building to do scientific research in natural areas, conduct interviews in local businesses, or carry out a range of other fieldwork assignments. Each day provides opportunities for quiet reflection — time for students to write in their journals, gather their thoughts, and reflect on what they have learned. Students work individually and in small groups. Together they learn to draw on the strengths of a whole class and are not separated into “ability groups.”

Coding
To make learning to code, easier for students and equip their students with future ready coding skills, our school engaged in imparting quality education to the kids, has partnered with Eupheus Learning, known for providing differentiated learning solutions and organized coding workshops to celebrate “The Hour of Code” for classes 4th to 12th to learn-by-doing coding platform created using a game-style environment. By engaging in interactive, hands-on explorations of coding concepts in the context of everyday situations, students begin to think like coders. They proactively design commands, sequences, loops, events, and Algorithms.
F1 In School
To make learning fun again using the magnetic appeal of Formula1, to help cultivate a culture of research and development amongst students, to develop soft skills among the students, to increase industry-academia collaborations and partnership and to prepare young people for future roles in finance, design, technology, engineering and scientific industries, jaipuria has associated with F1 in SchoolsTM, which is the World’s Largest STEM Based Technology Challenge, Formula1 in Schools. Our students have participated in the F1 in SchoolsTM Challenge to have a feel of the world of Formula1 Racing.
It’s not just learning that’s important. It’s learning what to do with what we learn and learning why we learn things, that matters. In order for kids to be successful academically, their other needs must be met, too. It is important to remember that students develop socially and emotionally at the same time they are developing academically. That includes their social and emotional needs.

Financial Literacy
Financial literacy is the ability to understand and make use of a variety of financial skills, including personal financial management, budgeting, and investing. It also means comprehending certain financial principles and concepts, such as the time value of money, compound interest, managing debt, and financial planning. Financial literacy for kids does not only mean spending it wisely, but it also suggests the habit of saving or investing.
Seth Anandram Jaipuria School is inculcating many exciting programs to teach money-management skills to students apart from academics. Students of primary classes are encouraged to use a piggy bank in which they save their spare change, birthday money, or cash gifts received from their relatives/ families. This concept helps them to maintain a discipline of saving. Students of the middle classes are being familiarised with currencies, exchange rates, and banking systems. Students of higher classes are being introduced to income tax rules & calculation, the functioning of financial institutions as well as financial markets.
When children are aware of the concept, they can influence their families by sharing the knowledge on the importance of savings and take necessary steps for better financial management. Thus, spreading the concept of financial literacy and creating financial awareness among children can be a great leap forward toward better implementation of financial discipline at large.

KAHOOT, QUIZZIZ, PUZZLE: These assessment-centered tools allow teachers and students to create interactive games
FLIP: Teachers use this tool to facilitate English speaking skills development through video class discussions. It allows students to build classrooms or study groups to help students express their ideas and learn from one another.
WAKELET: this allows students to pool their resources as teams, building a portfolio for a project in Wakelet and later utilising this resource-pool to design their project.
POWTOON: This web-based animation software allows teachers and students to create animated presentations of scientific processes, bringing them to life, or for breathing animations into the poem by using pre-created objects, imported images, provided music and user-created voice-overs.
TED-Ed is an educational platform that incorporates creating/ viewing educational lessons with the collaboration of teachers, students, animators—generally people who want to expand knowledge and good ideas. This website allows democratizing access to information, both for teachers and students.
CODING: incorporates logic, problem-solving, and creativity in an engaging way for children of all ages; non-cognitive skills that children develop through coding lessons are even more beneficial to young learners than the technical skills they acquire. Coding allows students to be creative without being wrong. helps improve their mathematics and writing skills but also gives them valuable skills in life and eventually in the workforce.
Design Thinking
Design is the future- Design will define a better tomorrow. The learning outcomes of students these days are a mix of skills and competencies. Within this new global ecosystem, the demand includes more people with these competencies and fewer people with basic skill sets. Creativity and innovation can happen only when one finds a problem with the existing systems by displaying empathy. Once a problem is spotted there are several possibilities to solve it. Convergent and divergent thinking can come into play to propose ideas to solve these problems. This is where Design Thinking comes in place. Leading the way, at Jaipuria we are incorporating learning and practicing the Design Thinking Process in the curriculum. This enables us to provide a platform for enhancing students’ learning by equipping them with a proven process for meaningfully applying their knowledge and skills.
Students follow a methodological and iterative approach, moving through the stages of empathy, define, ideation, prototype, test, and iterate. The process connects the initiator and the user of the idea closely and the initiator at every stage keeps the need of the user in mind.
During design thinking classes, we help students going further than just finding ‘the right answer’ to problems. Students address complex problems to which they don’t know what the ‘right answer’ should look like. They apply the methodologies of design to day-to-day challenges they come across —which makes it central to innovation and creativity.
There will be no dearth of a process mindset suited to innovation and creative problem-solving and the world will be filled with people who have an eye for empathy for the problems of others, and who will be open to innovating in multidisciplinary teams.
