JMUNC 2026 Concludes with Inspiring Diplomacy, Dynamic Debates and Celebrated Excellence

Top Rated School in GhaziabadGhaziabad: Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Vasundhara, successfully hosted the 8th edition of the Jaipuria Model United Nations Conference (JMUNC) 2026, bringing together young leaders from various schools for two days of stimulating debate, negotiation, and collaborative problem-solving.

The conference commenced with a ceremonial lamp lighting, a melodious welcome song, and a captivating cultural performance. In his inaugural address, Principal Mr. Anit Arora urged delegates to embrace the power of listening, empathy, and understanding, emphasising that true diplomacy is rooted in respecting diverse perspectives and recognising the human story behind every issue. Director–Schools, Mr. Harish Sanduja, highlighted the importance of dialogue and emotional intelligence, drawing from the Bhagavad Gita (Chapter 2, Verses 63–64) to stress that self-control and thoughtful deliberation are the cornerstones of effective leadership. The ceremony also featured the introduction of the Executive Board and organising committees, followed by the Director General’s address and the formal declaration of JMUNC 2026 open by the Secretary General.

Over the next two days, delegates engaged in intensive committee sessions across UNHRC, UNGA, UNCSW, UNICEF, UNEP, WHO, Lok Sabha, International Press, and the IPL Auction Houses, deliberating on pressing national and global issues. Through research-driven debates, moderated and unmoderated caucuses, negotiations, and resolution drafting, participants showcased exceptional critical thinking, diplomacy, and public speaking skills.

The conference concluded with a grand Closing Ceremony celebrating the dedication of the Core Secretariat, Senior Secretariat, Executive Board, Organising Committee, faculty mentors, and delegates who contributed to the success of JMUNC 2026. 

The much-awaited Awards Ceremony recognised excellence across all committees. Delegates were honoured with Verbal Mention, Special Mention, High Commendation, and Best Delegate awards, while the International Press recognised outstanding journalists and photographers. The IPL Auction Houses conferred the Best Team Award, celebrating strategic collaboration and teamwork. These accolades reflected the delegates’ excellence in research, diplomacy, negotiation, and leadership throughout the conference.

As the Secretary General formally declared the conference closed, delegates departed with enriched perspectives, meaningful friendships, and invaluable lessons in diplomacy, collaboration, and responsible leadership. JMUNC 2026 once again reaffirmed Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Vasundhara’s commitment to nurturing globally aware, empathetic, and future-ready leaders.
