August 9 & 10, 2024 -The Jaipuria Model United Nations Conference 2024 concluded on a high note, celebrating two days of rigorous debates, insightful discussions, and meaningful collaboration among the brightest young minds. The mega conference saw a participation of over 600 delegates from 70 schools across the nation. Delegates exemplified diplomacy and critical thinking, truly embodying the values of the United Nations. The event was orchestrated by JMUNC’24’s Secretariat and organizing committee, a student-led initiative spearheaded by Secretary-General Shivani Agrihari. Ms. Parul Tyagi, the MUN teacher coordinator provided guidance and supervision to ensure the smooth execution of the conference.
The closing ceremony was enriched by a spirited performance from the school band, infusing the evening with a celebratory atmosphere. A specially curated video presentation allowed participants to relive the most memorable moments of JMUNC 2024, fostering a sense of shared accomplishment among the delegates. The pinnacle of the closing ceremony was the presentation of a series of prestigious awards. Delegate Awards were conferred on a committee-by-committee basis, acknowledging individual excellence in diplomacy and debate. The coveted Best School Delegation trophy, accompanied by a substantial cash prize of INR 10,000, was awarded to Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Kanpur, in recognition of their outstanding collective performance.
The Secretary-General, Shivani Agrahari, formally declared JMUNC 2024 closed, leaving participants with cherished memories and a renewed commitment to diplomacy and collaboration.
